Barcelona is monitoring Messi’s successor in the Junior World Cup
A Spanish press report confirmed today, Tuesday, that Barcelona aims to include a jewel of talent from the Brazilian youth national team.
According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, the Barcelona administration is currently monitoring Palmeiras’ young player Misinho, who is currently participating with the Brazilian national team in the U-17 World Cup, currently being held in Indonesia.
Messinho (16 years old) was given this name, due to the similarities in his style with Argentine legend Lionel Messi, the former Barca and current Inter Miami star.
Messinho is on the radar of several major European clubs, such as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
However, according to the newspaper, the young player has expressed his desire to join Barcelona.
It is worth noting that Barcelona has signed young Brazilian striker Vitor Roque, who will join the team next January.
