Real Madrid in big trouble before Valencia and Arsenal clashes

Real Madrid is facing a new crisis during a difficult period of the season, as it prepares for several crucial matches in various competitions.
Real Madrid may be forced to rely on its third goalkeeper, given the doubts surrounding the fitness of Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin.
This comes as Real Madrid prepares to host Valencia at the Bernabéu on Saturday in La Liga, before traveling to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal next Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Courtois suffered a muscle injury while with the Belgian national team during the last international break, during the warm-up before the match against Ukraine. He subsequently missed the league match against Leganes and the Copa del Rey match against Real Sociedad. There are also doubts about his availability for the matches against Valencia and Arsenal.
According to the Spanish network “Relevo,” Lunin suffered an injury in the semi-final against Sociedad, and although he is likely to participate against Valencia, a final decision will be made tomorrow.
If he doesn’t make it to the match, Real Madrid will have to rely on 19-year-old Fran Gonzalez, who has never played for the first team.
Fran has played 16 matches for the reserve team, conceding 19 goals, and keeping three clean sheets.
