Barcelona entered direct negotiations with Chelsea, in order to negotiate the possibility of including the Blues duo.
And journalist Fabrizio Romano, an expert on player transfers in Europe, stated that Barcelona had contacted directly with Chelsea, to negotiate the inclusion of Cesar Azpilicueta.
He added that Barcelona wants to resolve the deal to include Azpilicueta as soon as possible.
Fabrizio explained that the Catalan team made an offer to include Azpilicueta for a period of two seasons, in addition to the possibility of extending it for an additional year.
He indicated that Barcelona wants to discuss with Chelsea about the inclusion of Marcos Alonso, and Barca hopes to sign him this summer.
Fabrizio concluded that the Barcelona board of directors will meet with Todd Boeli, the new owner of Chelsea, in the coming hours to resolve the two deals, especially since Barca has an agreement with Alonso and Azpilicueta.
