Bayern to compete with Barcelona for a striker from the Premier League

Barcelona and Bayern Munich are following a common path to support the offensive line in the summer transfer window.

And the Catalan newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, indicated in a report that signing Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski is a priority for Barcelona this summer.

She added, “However, the Barca administration identified an alternative to the Polish striker if he did not succeed in convincing the Bavarian administration to dispense with him, which is the inclusion of Romelu Lukaku, the Chelsea striker.”

The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez is very impressed with the capabilities of Lukaku, who is 5 years younger than Robert Lewandowski.

She pointed out that the Bayern Munich administration is also considering the inclusion of Lukaku, if it fails to persuade Lewandowski to stay until the end of his contract in the summer of 2023.

However, the priority for German club officials to support the team’s offensive line remains in the inclusion of Senegalese, Sadio Mane, the Liverpool striker.

For his part, Romelu Lukaku is more inclined to return to his old club, Inter Milan.
