Nasser Al-Khelaifi makes peace with Barcelona through a deal worth €80 million

Paris Saint-Germain suffered a major blow after their humiliating defeat to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final in the United States.
Despite winning numerous titles, including the Champions League and the French League, Spanish coach Luis Enrique is determined to sign new players to maintain his trophy-winning record.
Barcelona already knows that Fermin Lopez is one of the team’s most sought-after players, and that many teams are willing to bet on him, taking advantage of his lack of a place in Hans-Dieter Flick’s plans.
He faces fierce competition for his position, which has prompted him to consider his future calmly. He doesn’t want to risk being a mere substitute and being left out of Luis de la Fuente’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
It wasn’t long before several teams expressed a willingness to welcome him to their ranks, and he received calls from major clubs such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Bayer Leverkusen, and Manchester United. He has also received some offers from Saudi Arabia, although the club most keen on signing the Spanish international is Paris Saint-Germain, who have become an obsession for Luis Enrique.
Despite having a solid squad, the Spanish coach has asked Nasser Al-Khelaifi to bring in more new faces. Among the names being considered is the former Real Betis, Linares, and Recreativo de Huelva player, whom he is convinced will blend perfectly with his style of play and could have a significant impact at the Parc des Princes.
However, they are also aware that negotiations will not be easy. This is primarily due to the poor relationship with Joan Laporta and Deco, and is also due to Flick’s reluctance to lose Fermin, whom he values as a crucial player. Furthermore, it should not be overlooked that Lopez recently signed a long-term contract at Camp Nou until 2030, so there is no obligation to sell him.

However, if an astronomical offer arrives and the 2003-born player asks to leave, Barcelona may consider saying goodbye for good.
Barcelona won’t negotiate for less than €80 million
Although it would take an astronomical offer to convince Barcelona to let Fermin pack his bags, the minimum amount they would demand is €80 million.
Paris Saint-Germain and the rest of Fermin’s fans already know the price they would have to pay if they wanted to sign him.
